This FAQ is just getting started. Have a question? Let us know!

WHY DOES THIS MAP NOT COVER SUSTAINABLE BRANDS TOO?

There’s already so many clothes in the world, the goal of this map is to try to keep them out of landfill.

But if this is what you are looking for, give this website a visit:

HOW TO MAKE THE BEST USE OF THE MAPS TO ACHIEVE A LOWER IMPACT IN HOW WE CONSUME OR USE OR DISPOSE OF OUR TEXTILE & FASHION ITEMS?

1) Use your product more and longer.
    → Repair it
→ Take care of it, wash it correctly.

2) Don't use it any longer but still looks good?
    → Share it with friends.
    → Sell it.

3) Can it look good in another shape or form or purpose even?
    → Upcycle it.

4) Honeslty, it's in quite a state or you couldn't find a second home or purpose for it?
→ Use the textile bins, they will sort them and either put it back into the second hand market loop or will send it to
get recycled (or so we hope).

The butterfly diagram, here below, made by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, makes it easier to visualise and understand the principles of a circular economy.
